Do you think it’s possible? Last year they laid off 80 ppl but to my understanding it was mostly non engineering? I’m thinking they might be a company that offers decent job security but interested to hear what Palantir folks think before I move on with any interviews. #palantir
Moving from Google to Palantir makes no sense.
Eh, both have decent pay and wlb. Can’t really ask for too much more. Just trying to find a place where I don’t have to worry about seasonal layoffs.
I think it's extremely unlikely. We had a small number of layoffs in business development and recruiting last year. If anything the company is regretting the layoffs as business is absolutely booming now and we are a bit lean for the sheer amount of leads/contracts we're generating.
Oh that’s very interesting, thanks for the insight.
Oh by the way can you let me know how growth happens at Palantir? I am aware it depends on business impact but how is that measured and do you perhaps any advice about that? Thanks regardless.
I doubt we’re going to have serious layoffs. We’re not a legacy company that’s going into maintenance mode with less staff, we’re in a huge growth stage and are attacking lots of new opportunities
Thank you so much for the insight. This solidified going all-in on Palantir before earnings today. Congratulations!
