Considering the latest rounds of layoffs in high paying companies like Lyft, Stripe, Meta and the rest, do you think we will enter a new era of more cost effective companies where the engineering costs are slashed? Somebody on Twitter pointed out that while Stripe and Lyft were burning money and had to layoff to keep the lights on, more cost effective competitors (i.e. low paying) like Adyen and Cabify are growing handsomely and under no threat of having to layoff anyone #software #tc #layoffs #stripeĀ #lyft #meta #adyen
