What features are the grunts at wipro (1) + tcs (2) building for apple in Austin and Cupertino? They’re definitely paid like grunts from the number of recruiters that reach out to me for roles with them. Those two companies have a never ending supply of developer roles in Austin Tx and Cupertino CA for anyone with a pulse and 1+ year of experience making literally any app. The recruiters always offer a relatively unimpressive wage (around ~$50/hr on w2) with no relocation bonus, or any perks at all. I’m in Michigan and it costs thousands to move across the country like that and I just don’t get how they expect someone looking for a job to take out that kinda loan and pay it off with the wage offered + housing market in Austin and the Bay Area. Then for me it’s always for a role that can be done remote— and most likely is working with coworkers remotely in India anyways….? 1 https://www.fishbowlapp.com/post/anyone-working-in-wipro-for-apple-account 2 https://www.business-standard.com/article/companies/tata-run-iphone-plant-to-create-opportunities-in-india-says-tcs-executive-123011000424_1.html
Most of them are testing roles. QA I think. Also build teams etc

That’s the “who” is filling these roles. I’m wondering what they’re building. TCS seems to want to hire people that know Python in Austin over the last 3 years, and I’ve had official apple recruiters reach out to me for full remote roles (I got ghosted after submission) for Python. So it seems like apple and tcs are doing some Python development for apple in Austin and I’m curious what exactly they’re building
