With AI doing almost everything..what jobs are safe in the future?
I was able to code equivalent to 3 coders in a day. TPM’s laid off in Instagram. Soon it PM’s will be laid off too. Is AI going to Augment or replace? Whats your move?

It's a wonder how humanity managed to get here considering the amount of bs human beings output.
As someone taking help from AI day to day. I feel it’s beyond what you mention. It may not become like a human or close to human but it will have enough capability to replace multiple engineers with one experienced engineer + AI. I am seriously concerned about the future.

My man why is it difficult to believe? It seems like you haven’t been keeping up to date with latest updates..I am doing it already. This is my old account. I work in FAANG now(I don’t want to risk my job by disclosing the company name). Soon the management will encourage the productivity it is going to happen.
Dude, it is not like copilot makes you 3x more productive. At most, it increases your pure coding speed 2x. We don’t code all day, and in my experience for other tasks ai is less useful. For writing docs you will eventually get to 2x with more progress in AI. For really hard parts that might take 50% of your work at senior levels ai just doesn’t help yet.
lol I don’t believe you at all. AI code is so shit it’s crazy. The only people who could actually find it useful are non-tech people who take the first shitty snippet it spits out and thinks it’s good enough because they don’t understand the bigger picture.
