With the fear of Trump arrest protests, gun stocks are likely to increase
If Donald Trump is arrested, and if people decide to protest or protect themselves I imagine a lot of gun purchases will occur by private citizens. And the way to benefit from this chaos is to buy into weapon manufacturers stock. E.g. Smith and Wesson weapons stock (SWBI). During the election year this stock specifically went up due to covid lockdowns and social unrest/protests. I don’t follow the logic between Trump getting arrested and increased gun sales. Can you spell that out for a me a little more clearly?
Citizens fear the government, want to protect themselves by buying guns. During COVID gun sales went up a lot due to fear of big government and went up even more after the Summer protests. Anything that induces fear of government or property usually leads to more gun sales
I would generalize that more to “fear”. But how does Trump getting arrested cause widespread fear?
You grossly overestimate the number of people that care that much about things like this.
There is already more guns than humans in the US. How many more guns can people even buy? Especially the MAGA crowd!
