Work Culture at Tesla (Texas)
I'm aware Tesla doesn't have a great reputation when it comes to WLB or culture, but looking for some specific insight on work culture at Giga Texas in People Operations/HR and Sales. Is everyone working until 7pm every night? Are people in general friendly or is it cut throat and nasty? This is a big concern for me. What are the actual hours/is it actually 40 hrs minimum in the office? How chaotic is the office? I've heard multiple times the timelines are crazy, but how crazy. Looking for both positive and negative! Any insight would be helpful. The people I've met so far have been great and also pretty transparent.
People arnt in the office until 7 everyday. Not sure if they continue working once they get home. People wise - you will get a mixed bag. A lot really depends on what team you’re on and your manager. It’s loud AF in the office and there arn’t enough bathrooms You’ll have unrealistic expectations sometimes but you’ll learn a lot.
