I was given an offer at Zulily. I dislike my job and they’re offering me a role in a space that’s my passion. How’s the experience of working there and what do you think about the future of the company? @zulily
Doctor appointment with a doctor tomorrow please take care
I am in pretty similar situation as yours. I don't dislike my job but have got zulily's offer. But the glassdoor reviews are not encouraging. Would be good to get some view from current employees.
Most of the reviews on Glassdoor are by buyers and not engineers. Engineers seem to enjoy their jobs at Zulily.
Their engineers seemed cool to me.. Although it looked like some managers are not, lil too micromanaging ...TC wasn’t shit either.. @OP can share the current tc and tc offered by Zulilly.
It would be great to get some reviews from current employees. @OP: Did you decide on taking the offer? I am on the same ship as yours.
It’s a great place to work and learn for engineers. Reviews do come from non-technical roles as well.
Current engineer here, can say Zulily is a good company to work for in engineering. Turnover is high right now because Qurate (parent company) stocks took a dive by 65%, but stocks are supposed to rebound by 25% within the next year according to analysts (so signing on now may be a good move to improve comp). Work life balance is best I've had, work from home policy is awesome, and commute is decent since it's easy to get to. Moral is low right now due to lots of people leaving, related to TC loss due to stock drop, and new execs ramping up, but overall would recommend.
How’re the benefits there?
Microsoft to Zulily is a downgrade. DON'T. I bet their TC is shit.
