Does Microsoft discourage WFH? Or 3-4 times in a month is fine.
Come to Cisco. Many of us WFH every day.
how is the pay in Cisco? Above or below market?
Similar to intel, not competitive at all.
Don't go to IBM, they just banned it.
at MS I worked from home 2-3 times a week. prior to that team I worked entirely remote... depends on the team.
It kind of depends on team culture. Honestly, if you get work done and people trust you, you can wfh all you want, on days without meetings that need you there physically.
Depends on the team and your personal reputation. If you can be counted on to produce while away from the office, it's usually fine.
Depends on the team. Once a week is okay on half the teams.
On my team, it's pretty much at your discretion. I've done a day every other week for a while now. Can't guarantee it, but I would be surprised if you had a problem, especially if you consistently come back from WFH with something to show for your time.
