What is the work life balance as a senior integrations consultant at Workday, esp for medium enterprise team? Considering going there from a partner firm but heard that Workday always expects you to be 100% billable utilization or above. Currently I meet my bonus at 75% billable utilization, work 9 80 work schedule, and the workload is not much - I do just enough to be at 75%. Not sure if thank you Friday is still happening and I heard that depending on your manager you may not have a great WLB Base comp is better at the partner firm but you get equity and great benefits at Workday so TC is better at Workday
Clearly I don't work for Workday, but my work gives me visibility into Workday integrations, which I am thankfully not responsible for directly. From what I see, the Workday consultants are overworked to the point of inability to respond to emails with reasonable response times, or attend meetings with reasonable notice. I work with many tech services companies and many have integrations with Workday where they have their outsourced teams in Asia managing the integration from their end, so if you aren't planning your schedule to align to IST, you are going to have a rough time engaging with clients. The TC is higher at Workday because you are going to earn every cent through oddly timed meetings, annoyed clients constantly demanding more time with you, and requesting you to "please do the needful" by COB today, even though you have loads of other customers you're already calendared to deal with.
I can see demanding clients for sure. I think the Outsourced team is in Mexico though
