Work visa rule in Ireland - can I switch company within 1 month of working on visa?
I read somewhere it's better to switch job after 2 yrs of working at Ireland for visa reasons? But wondering, how early can I switch within Ireland to different companies for better pay as cost of living is crazy here and didn't realize it when I got the offer (just this month, new to Ireland) TC: 69k euro (as a software tech lead in a small company. now u know the reason to ask this question) P.s: I am posting this on behalf of a friend who doesn't work for Amazon n is as qualified as any SDE 3/PE in Amazon but due to unfortunate events, he is in a pickle with his family living in an new expensive country being underpaid (still fortunately better than average income in Ireland) #workvisa #ireland
In the CSWP it is generally mentioned that if it is the first job of the work permit holder in Ireland, another application for new Work Permit by another company can only be submitted for that person only after 1 year tenure of the first work permit.
