Workday Offer
Just received an offer from workday for TPM. Base : 176k RSU : 270k/ 4 years Sign on : 40k/ 2 years No bonus, instead they have PSU : 25 shares of workday TC : 270k Current TC : 225k YOE : 6 What do you guys think?
Seems like a very good offer..workday is very good company in terms of WLB compared to others in bay area

Didn’t know we differentiate tpm vs pm Also PMs at workday don’t have that amazing SWE wlb here. Expect meetings 9-5pm daily (except Wednesdays)
I think tpm might map to inbound pm
9-5pm and nothing after? That sounds amazing. I have 20yoe experience as a software tpm (in a hardware company), do you think I'll be able to get an interview? Or do they look for people with pure SAAS background?
I have never seen people working beyond 5 pm but i m sure orgs exist
Did the recruiter reach out to you directly or have someone refer you? I haven’t had any luck with workday when I apply to their jobs online.
Neither, I just applied through their online portal. They ended up interviewing me for a different role though, was told the hiring manager came across my resume in the system and wanted to interview me. Short answer, was just luck that I got the call. I've applied to workday several times before with no response.
I would think Microsoft is better than Workday
PM on my team has meetings sometimes starting at 7am and ending at 6pm
