Hey all, I’m interviewing for a contract DevOps role at Workday. (Contract part isn’t ideal, but the hourly rate is quite good so I’m looking into it.) Can anyone tell me what they’ve heard or experienced about what work culture and work life balance are like there? Thanks!
Basically a country club
This, in short. Some Workday Managers got very abusive on this post and lobbied to get this post taken down. 176 comments long thread because of how abusive some people leaders are at Workday!
Super chill wlb on the app dev side. Great people and culture. There's been some significant issues in infrastructure that could impact the role's wlb, though. I'm a little skeptical about it being a contract position. I don't know why they would do that. Maybe someone else knows if that's normal for devops.
Not necessarily. I’m app dev and my team is super toxic! There is no wlb and the leadership shows no support.
Usually we do this if there is a person long term disability or maternity leave.

Amazing! Did you get Fide rating? I remember applying for chess.com a year ago. I don’t have official chess rating, so they disqualified me.
