Hello, I'm interested in your experience at workday as a software application engineer. Hows the work life balance? Is the work/project boring? Thoughts on xo/yp? How are you coworkers and culture? Career growth/raises/promotions? I hear they do reoccurring rsu every year. Any suggestion on which teams are good or bad?
I interviewed there and asked the same question: WLB - great! Boring work Xo/YP - Career dead ends in you’re a SWE Culture laid back

How do you find the PM culture at Workday? Do you think it's a good career move for somebody in a startup who's looking to move into big tech? I've been thinking of throwing in an application.
Great work life balance and amazing culture. As a result, you'd take a hit on comp, it's mediocre. Depending on the org you join there may be politics to deal with as well. My 2 cents, stay far away from XO, it's shitty and non transferable. Avoid any roles with the term 'Application', go for regular SDE roles.
I would say it is a good company if you want to stay long term or till retirement. Very chill, people are nice, but if you use XO it might be hard to get a job outside

Worked for workday, my experience was really good. I meet some other alumni that regret leaving the company, but cannot speak for all teams.
Did you have troubles transitioning out of workday due to learning xo/yp? How long were you there for and did you get any raises while you worked?
