I am looking to build cool and interesting solutions with customers to help their business, which I am doing at AWS. Is databricks similar? I don't see much info on the Field Engineering role and opinions of it TC: 284k YOE: 6
Been in field for almost six years. Databricks has treated me better than any other company I have worked for. I am a startup person. So, the work life balance thing is more normal. I really feel like you get what you put in here. The comp is competitive.
It’s separate from the SWE org, and more uneven. But some people I know in field Eng at Databricks are outstanding, so there’s definitely something about it that’s able to attract talent
