Working at Facebook as engineering manager 1

How well does it compare to the same role at Google? Do you still have enough time for family life? I'm thinking if having kids next year so work life balance is becoming more important.

What’s the level equivalent at G? L6? Also are all managers on EM ladder at FB or are there other ladders for things like TPM managers or hardware eng managers?

Once you're ramped up, if you pick the right team, work life balance at FB is good. 9 to 6, M-F most weeks.
