I LOVE Reactjs and ive been working with it for four years now. i’m interested in working at google even though they probably dont work with react. should it matter? or is it more important to just get better at frontend without a specific framework or library and leave the react to side projects? #frontend #google
G is so large that different teams and projects are likely to use a bunch of different frameworks and transpiled languages. Some teams write Dart and I wouldn't be surprised to hear that others write Typescript. However, I'm sure that most will coalesce around a few core web stacks. Just like how you won't see backend teams writing RoR or PHP.
React is not a super common web framework at Google. The most common is a Google-proprietary framework and the next-most-common is Angular
I thought you said you love rejection.....
🤣
Why do you think Google doesn't use React? I know only 1 codebase of G, and they use React
Would’ve made more sense to me if they used angular, but I’m glad to hear
It's a big company
