Hypocrisy of Indians
Hello guys I wanted to know how is it like to work at Slalom build (not slalom consulting). Especially in data engineering domain. I have seen the reviews on Glassdoor and overall it seems good but wanted to know more by someone who have worked there. How are the projects in general? Is work challenging? How is growth as engineer? Current TC: 🥜 YoE: 6 #dataengineering #slalom #career
I loved it. I worked for Slalom Build for 5 years, started as a DE and left as an Architect. Projects are usually good, depends on the client / tech. You’ll have fun with the Slalom team even if the client is crap. Work can definitely be challenging. Leadership does a good job ramping you up but also giving you harder challenges if you ask for it. (Ex: I really want to learn Spark, they will staff me on a Spark project) Growth is good as well depending on the manager. Data engineering team are rock stars so you should be in good hands.
Awesome thanks
Woww that’s great to hear and totally opposite what I heard from my friend at architect level (slalom build). He is planning to join NY D&A team now
It’s totally depend on project. Plus slalom build is global team so from career growth prospective its very slow as compare to local market team. If you are planning to join Slalom than negotiate your salary at the joining time
