For those who have a nanny, and use a payroll, what website do you use? We’ve seen a couple (Homepay, SurePay, intuit, & Poppins); wondering if anyone has had good/bad experiences with any of them, particularly when it comes to taxes. Thank you!!! TC: 225k, YOE: 10
I used surepayroll which always raised prices constantly and seemed to screw up the taxes every year. Even though I was set up as a household employer, every time I talked with them, it always seemed like they were coming at it as though i were a business owner. I always heard good things about Breedlove (which is now homepay) bc they were dedicated to and built around nanny/hh employee situations - so that’s who I would use next go-round.
No, I would pay cash and call it a day and told my husband he could never run for political office…
Pay cash like the rest of America does
My family has used care.com (home pay) for our nanny payroll and taxes. It works fine, cost is reasonable. I’ve never looked for anything else.
What is the advantage when compared to handing them a check?
They calculate taxes owed and make payments to the tax authorities, do quarterly filings and end of year forms
I used HomePay and I was very happy with their service.
I use Poppins. No complaints.
Thank you everyone! Homepay it is.
Just curious why you chose Homepay. Isn’t poppins good as well ?
