Recently interviewed at Adobe. After getting offer, this HR made my life hell. He made me resign from my current job after generating offer letter and then revoked my Adobe offer, apparently left me unemployed. Is there any legal way to get my offer back? Why did you resign before getting official offer letter ? While he is at fault, you are too.
I had the offer letter with joining date of 4th Feb. The thing is he revoked that offer as well, not just declining the date change
Were you at gunpoint while they made you resign? If yes, the legal way is to file a criminal complaint. Otherwise, don't even bother to discuss your stupidity with the world.

Everything happens on trust while switching jobs. The offer letter doesn't have a legal obligation. I see both HR and you are at fault in back and forth partial communication.
How can he force you to resign? If he can, you have much bigger problems than unemployment - You should never let anyone push you around. Anyways - Org and HRName?
I have worked at both Adobe Noida and Bangalore. I had a pleasant experience and I grew a lot. Though I agree HRs can be sometimes shitty - experienced both as a candidate and a panelist
Not just HR, it has some of the shittiest managers in the industry who can make your life a hell hole.
Damn bro fk that recruiter But why you resigned without written letter in first place? True that they could have rescind the written offer as well, but something in written would have been nice.
Seems like you have not learnt anything mate from experiences around you.
What experiences?
Adobe is the worst place on earth to work for... Drag them to court.. all the best
This is more an industry wide recruiting ethics problem and Adobe is no exception with regards to ethics. Some unethical recruiters and hiring managers can leave candidates in a limbo by rescinding offers. Wishing you good luck elsewhere.
You are right. I am an ex-Adobe employee myself. And although I liked the work culture there, I never liked it whenever I had to interact with HRs there, e.g. while referring someone. Recruiters are totally different people there.
