Which one was your worst ever interview experience, regardless of your performance, you found interviewers to be toxic/nonsense/unfair/mismanaged? #tech #interviews #faang
Goldman
Oh my! Forgot to add it's name.. it truly is the worst of all.
Fresh grad Airbnb douche was the most annoying.
Airbnb is the worst.
Apple - had a gilf interview me, then proceeded to laugh condescendingly when I couldn’t immediately come up with a solution to the problem. 0/10 would not wanna work there.
PMs don't interview engineers at Google.
Voleon was by far my worst onsite (and post-onsite) interview experience.
AWS for sure. Second on site the dude walked in, on the same broader team id be on. Looked at me looked at my resume and said “Yeah no way I recommend you, so don’t be surprised if you get recycled”... get through the whole interview and my turn for questions. First one was “How long have you been with AWS?”... his answer was “3.5 months”... that’s all I needed to know that I didn’t want to be on The same team. Called my recruiter after the day was done and told her to withdraw my candidacy. Will never respond to a recruiter from there again. YOE 20.
Man that really happened?? You work at Google for God's sake.. how can he look down upon you(even if you weren't a googler but still)... Amazon takes candidate feedback post interview, did you complain?
This was pre Google. I got contacted a week later from a G recruiter. I’m not into religion or a greater power but my wife and I joke AWS wasn’t meant to be. I let the recruiter know and via the survey.
No interviewer at Amazon would ever say that to a candidate. Sounds like a lie to me tbh
Google truly has the most inscrutable interviewers and absolute worst recruiters in the bay
They are needlessly difficult for sure. But their professionalism is better than many.
Interviewers are fine, just strange. The recruiters are truly terrible.
Swiggy? WTF
