Hey all! I have been applying to a few roles in tech and haven’t been getting much luck. I have a feeling it’s because my resume may not be either picking up in the ATS or may not have the key verbiage to at least get a look (or maybe my experience isn’t showcased greatly). I am currently a director within a F250 med tech company with 8 YOE (progressively grown from field rep to director). Would anyone, ideally a recruiter, be willing to look at my resume just for some advice? Looking at BD, SAM, NA, and other commercial roles. Found some great roles at Meta and Amazon in the same vertical. YOE 8 TC 85K Base + 75K stock Thanks in advance!! #atlassian #salesforce #meta #Optics #amazon #microsoft #Matillion #medtronic #accenture #oracle #alcon #vmware #eyecareleaders #essilorofamerica
It’s probably not your resume. Applying online without an employee/internal referral usually yields low returns. DM for VMware

How does Peter Principle apply to you?
It sounds like you’re applying for the wrong roles/levels… For Amazon at least - Strategic AMs are L6 and above. Directors are usually L7 and above. These roles are looking for 10+ years experience and pays 350-500k Food for thought, you should be applying at startups
I’ve actually been applying to L5 roles at Amazon, Senior AMs, and VM roles. But it’s strange not getting any hits. Start ups is a great option!! Do you have any advice on where I could find startups looking for people?
