Would coming via a tourist VISA help in finding job opportunities via networking for which they agree to sponsor H1B?

I definitely understand that B1/B2 visa is just for business/tourist for people from other nation to visit USA, I recently got an information that people can visit US with this visa and network with people there and give some sort of "offline base interview"?, And once they come back to their nation , the company offer to sponsor them H1B? How true is this in terms of tech industry? Is this even possible or some huge BS? #USjobs #USvisa #US #jobs #abroad YOE :;2.5 CTC : 10,00,000 L.P.A ($13,000 😭)

Yes, you have to attend an interview probably.

You can actually come to US on a visitor visa for attending interviews and it is allowed. You may need supporting documents like interview invitation.

Happened with my friend .. the company ended up sponsoring him for a GC straight and H1b and he ended up getting the GC faster. You have to have good connections thought .. and my friend had the B1/2 without the intention of coming for interview .. it just happened

If you already have an interview lined up, it should be fine. Outside of this, networking is not as simple as it sounds. It's complex and staying in the US on an Indian salary would get very expensive very quick. You may meet people in conferences but translating that to an interview especially when you don't already have an H1B is a whole different ball game. Nothing is impossible in life but the odds are heavily stacked against you unless you already have some interviews lined up.
