Sheryl Sandberg Caught Spreading Israeli Disinformation
Ex. SDE II 1.5 yr -> SDE III 1.5 yr Or “SDE” for 3 years
it almost never helps, almost always hurts your leverage in negotiation
Yes on the resume. No on LinkedIn.
I skyrocketed at my current role (several promos w/ around 1 promo per year) and I've been getting interviews (and now some offers) at meta, google, linkedin, DoorDash, robinhood, reddit, Walmart, etc for L5 even though I have 5 YOE. I put the promos on linkedin & resume. I'm in product though. I do have high impact generative AI experience which is definitely helping with getting interviews, but if you think of it logically, fast promos show that someone is so good at their job that have to move them up to keep them around
Right that’s why I was asking. I’m getting promoted at an above average pace and have a weird level of responsibility for my yoe I feel like it can show some sort of proficiency
Be generic if you want an up level. Show promo if you want a lateral move.
