Wow... what do you guys think? Stiff competition for Netflix

Personally, I think healthy competition is always good in the grand scheme of things. And for only $12.99...πŸ‘‡

What if I don’t want Hulu (due to their pro abortion propaganda) or ESPN (obvious reasons)?

Amazon z126 Aug 6, 2019

Lol relax cupcake I'm sure they'll be an option for disney+ alone

You can watch all the DSA conventions you want online. For free

Finally Netflix will die. Wish it happened sooner.

NVIDIA monolith_ Aug 6, 2019

Flunked their interview?

Wow that's awesome

Netflix will still be ok. Content matters. Quantity vs quality.

Facebook Leeetworld Aug 6, 2019

But if their app sucks they won't keep users. Netflix just works which is the most important thing for most users.

Hulu lamburger Aug 7, 2019

Patently false. Many shitty products do very well in the marketplace because they offer a compelling value prop. In this case, the core value prop is content. Whichever streaming services have the best content will win. The usability has to be poor to an extreme in order to drive away a meaningful number of customers.

Abundance mindset must you have. Pie just gets bigger.

Google NSFW4 Aug 6, 2019

From my perspective it just means the cost of Netflix doubled. I.e. a lot of content that was /would have been on Netflix is now going to be elsewhere and you need both subscriptions to get content

Netflix razorlab Aug 6, 2019

Noooo, that was the one thing we were betting won’t happen. All is over!!!

Netflix OA3 Aug 6, 2019

ESPN+ is only good for UFC junkies. Hulu ads will turn you off. And if you really like it, you could get it on BF for $1 or get it for free with Spotify. Disney+ is for small kids. If you own DIS, get out before it's too late.

Netflix zyNgn9 Aug 7, 2019

^^^ lacks humility. Competition is good. Both services will succeed. I’ll subscribe to both.
