Anyone here work at FanDuel?

Wondering how is the pay? How’s the culture? Looking for L5 or L6 Manager roles (using Google levels — L5 being first engineering manager level on the rung) #fanduel

I don’t think it’s a good company. Forgot where I read. Too lazy to google

Just curious— not good as far as TC goes? Or culture? Or both or something else?

Both

Can speak to both. Total Comp is competitive but easily beaten when you look at just the $. But health insurance is fantastic. For my family of 4 my deductions are $52/paycheck. As for the WLB, in engineering there's a hybrid/remote work model. No one is forced to go into office. There is an expectation that each engineer will eventually be added to an on call rota. Usually for a week at a time and only occurring like once every 6-8 weeks (depending on team size). PTO is flexible, no set number, everyone at the company is entitled to whatever they need to keep themselves sane. Deadlines get a little hectic during the approach to NFL season, but other than that it's pretty relaxed. Hope this helps!

Awesome man, thanks! What’s the TC like? Im around $330,000 now for a L6 EM role at my current company. Wondering if FD can come close to that

I am at the final stage with them now. So also want to get more insights. Thanks!

FanDuel pays really low. They tend to hire young, unproven, talent but pay way lower than market rate. Truthfully, I don't think you will come close to $330k unless you are shooting for a VP role.
