Is VR/MR/AR/XR the future?
Google, Amazon, Apple, Magic Leap, Microsoft all have big bets in it. Are they right? Should we all be learning Unity right now?

yütüb May 31, 2018No. It’s not like mobile phones or the internet. Its an interface, It’s like adding Siri to the iPhone, but with less practical application. AR for ads/product/retail we shall see.
Personally I am far more interested in what technology AR/VR will push forward: computer vision including depth sensing, display, mobile silicon, etc...this is an exciting time as infrastructure technology (ex. AI) is finally reaching some maturity and AR will take advantage of that.
