I'm earning more every month on interest than my stocks lol
My friend Prasad died for this. He was laid off from Robinhood.
?
Do you understand how interest rates work Sider?
after tax it turns out to be 3%
Unless you’ve got enough brain cells to buy Treasuries instead
Hard to use treasuries as collateral though
Mine still shows 4.65
It's from Jul 27th
Still 4.65
From Jul 27th
So you are coming from future ? Wtf
Yes we need two more rate hikes
Bro treasury is like 5.5 + no state taxes
Didn't know treasury is no state tax. How much can you invest in Treasury and what's the best way to do it?
Love to learn more about it
That interest rate is sus
That’s how they get you in and then drop it
Thats yearly interest... divide that by 12 and stocks been continuously up since April
You can get like 5.5 from treasury ETFs
Which ones? I haven’t been able to find one That’s paying this yield and maintaining
Total return/YTM. A lot of treasuries pay a coupon of (say) 3.5% with the rest of the return from appreciation of the treasury asset. There’s a few providers out there who automate this and calc the yield. Source/disclosure: my employer (not MS) is one of them.
