Hello community, Sharing my experience on updating DS-160 for a drop off appointment. I had this issue as well where I wanted to update my DS-160 on the new portal. But,I couldn't. I had created a ticket, and their response was to request the team at the drop off location. So, I created a new DS-160, submitted it, took a copy of it on the drop off day to the drop off location, and they updated my DS-160. So, if you have a drop off appointment, request the team at the drop off location, and they will update your DS-160. And , if you have an in person appointment, you can ask the biometric team on the day of giving your biometric details, and they will update your DS-160. Hope this info helps someone. Don't worry much, and everything will be fine.
