In the hiring loop for a manager position at HelloFresh that requires ~40% travel. How is their Policy? Caps on hotels/airlines/food budgets per day? I want to avoid joining a company that requires 40% travel and then makes it impossible to do so due to limited budgets (had this issue in the past like 30$ daily food caps). Thanks! EU TC: 108K

Seems reasonable to share your concern and ask them about the policy. Especially if it's 40% travel.
Per diem is set by the company, but has to meet or exceed federal per diem rates by each city.
Don’t leave Amazon for hellofresh. Also, they are changing other policies to save money, even cut down on fruits at Berlin office. Flight up to 15h is economy. Per diem in Germany is 28€, other places of Europe is around that too (13 (Serbia ) to 34). Except Norway that is 53. Per diem in the US is around 34€. Canada is 40€. Ubers to the office is not included when Travelling. Also encorage to use public transport from airport to hotel.
Does that mean that per meal is 28$ when travelling or per day total food budget?
I was reading the policy to tell you. And here it says “per diem for 24h stay”
Forgot to add about hotels, but they have a list of hotels in their travel platform and you need to book thru it. If you want an example, here in Berlin would be Ibis mitte.
Also, 108k would be here a lead/ director job. The most they offer on stocks is 5/10 per year. Which is low if you compare to other companies here.
Gotta do drop offs half your shit maybe?
