Not sure much else needs to be said here
Remote options available?
Yes, you'll always be remote.
They don't mention that the flight attendant is expected to essentially be an executive assistant too.
They’re not actually paying 385k for a flight attendant. They are forced by law now to post salary ranges, and so they are posting a ridiculously wide range to effectively circumvent the law. The job posting says something like “jobs like this at Netflix pay between 60-385k”
But due to stock grants and lucky market timing the ranges are accurate. Netflix simply included the outliers, perhaps the law should stipulate how said range is defined in a more detailed manner.
I doubt they’re inflating the top number based on market timing. Netflix is well known for letting you pick what split of cash vs equity you want anyways. I bet it’s more that this job has a tier within the company and so they’re just listing the min and max of that job tier. I still believe it’s exceedingly unlikely they actually pay a flight attendant 385
You fell for this BS 400K story? The real story is that this flight attendant will be making about 100K. It’s just that the salary grade ranges are now super large for Netflix postings to skirt the law.
How come attendant can survive with 100k salary? Bay Area is so expensive, they need to move office to Alabama
But why are they hiring flight attendants?
Same question. Is Netflix extending their business??
Does the flight attendant get a horse or is that just standard severance on Musk flights? IYKYK
Does Musk fly on those jets?
You mean work hard go places serve drinks instead of sitting on my couch and working remote getting paid almost as much ?
