How does interviewing at Revolut looks like for non tech roles? Current TC: 200K YoE: 5
Been told by numerous non engineering peers that all interviews have some sort of technical drills. Like for MnA director there was a task involving sheets manipulation that's just can't be done without basic scripting skills. POs can be asked to prepare an in depth product analysis working with some sort of big data storages as well. And in many cases it's actually what's anyone can expect at the corresponding role. No one usually gets away with just presentation and speaking skills at the job (unless you're some heavy weight mammoth brought to up the board respectability or gain some regulatory brown points), some sort of engineering exists at any role and usually that's what is required on the interview
For ops role you get: -fit interviews -take home test (20-40h over a week): • fix a sql query •write your own query, datasets provided •solve a data insight questions (Excel python doesn't matter) • Present findings in a ppt - case study like strategy consulting but less interactive - bar raiser interview with someone senior to test alignment with Revolut values All in all, lengthy but good fun. Answers to the take home test are on stackoverflow.

Just got take home for Strategy & Ops role; jeez is it even worth doing this, that's what I have been asking myself for last 2 days. :-(
I did that same take home a month ago, took them a few weeks to get back to me about the next interview. Settle in for the long haul if you want to move forward, they really take their time.
Is it worth it? How was your next round? What kind of vibe did u get? I feel like am signing up for Amazon 2.0
