Trust me bro
Dank confirmed today
Makes sense, they had a long run without much competition. However with a number of Leo constellations online now, it’s only a matter of time before they lose significant market share and pricing advantages.
Can confirm - was laid off today without warning! AMA
Ah sorry to hear... What business org?
Residential. Hemorrhaging customers to starlink. I believe residential numbers are down from 500k+ a year ago to under 400k now. Sales targets are regularly missed. Maybe the new VS-3 constellation will help, but that is very uncertain.
Supposedly a 4% RIF
It's a rough year for the company, even without competition. Lots of delays and uncertainty. People may not like it in tech, but there is a ton of red tap around sat communication that will keep Viasat relevant for a good while longer. But long term I could see them getting bought out and gutted to gain access to their spectrum.
Severance offered ?
none from PTE
How many people in the Atlanta office?
Never heard of it. What does viasat does
Satellite internet service. They have lots of government contracts.
Inflight wifi revenue > government, based on their latest ER.
