I want to move my kid to a digital piano from a keyboard. Can you guys suggest some good ones with weighted keys & closest sound to acoustic piano. Thanks
Yamaha p45
Clavinova. Sound doesn’t matter what matters is the keybed
Pianos overrated
Roland DP603 - Moving from an acoustic piano to this still feels like a practical compromise, but that's probably the best you can get while staying reasonable. (Spending more than 4000 on a digital is overoptimizing for the wrong thing IMO)
Thats a good one but expensive for me. How about Roland RP-500
that's just the Costco version of RP102, a bit outdated now. Maybe try the FP30 or FP60? What's your current skill level and how far would you like to go. The touch is greatly improved once you move to FP90 / DP603 tho. For kids it might be quite important to develop good touch.
We need your kid’s TC in order to recommend something appropriate.
Lol TC 180k
