Jane street on-site interview

What’s the on-site interview like for Jane street? I heard it’s 4 technicals in a row. Is it just them grilling you for coding back to back? Or do they have systems design and what not. This is for whatever they call “production engineering” Tc: 200 after drop Yoe: 1.5 Ic4 at 🤡🌎

It’s a hard interview, lots of concept talk lots of puzzle and logic conversation, this of-course was for a quant position, not sure what prod engg. do but yeah it’ll be technical for sure, if you know your shit you won’t have a problem if you’re on the fence they’ll sniff that out. Also receiving an offer is a whole other story, JS is stingy with their offers.

Based on my recent interview experience with it, its onsite should be like this: - Two rounds in the morning - 30-minute QA session for you to ask any questions - Two more rounds in the afternoon, if you do well enough in the morning Each round (including the QA session) is conducted by two Jane Street developers, and you will be given one technical question and multiple follow-ups to solve. No big system designs, no Leetcode style questions. Just design some small and practical enough like an in-memory cache. I failed and was notified two days later, but good luck to you bro

Did you actually have an in memory cache problem or was that just a fake example for illustration purposes
