Job market is brutal for SWEs 🥲
I'm a new grad joined JP Morgan 2 months ago. But when I applied Bloomberg I haven't start my employment at JP. Therefore, I don't have it on my CV. Should I mention this to the HR? If not, is it ok to hide this employment history when doing the background check? TC £40k #bloomberginterview #bloomberg
So JP Morgan pays £40k in the UK to new grads ?
yep
Thank God I ghosted their interview. 40k 🤡. Btw if you can get BB, it’s 75k base
Mention it to HR and fill the details during background check, what's the harm? Note that background check company checks details you provide in the form you'll fill after getting selected, not against your old CV.
Will it give them an impression that I want to leave my current job so desperately?
I don't think so
