Xilinx EDA offer

Going to get a Xilinx offer soon in the SW place-route implementation team. Level E6-E7 Yoe : 4 yrs full time 0.5 intern Any insight on salary expectations would be greatly appreciated I am thinking of asking around 250K TC adding a poll too.#tech #xilinxcompensation #xilinxhiring

Also is there a company policy to give E7 only for 6 years experience? Please let me know about this too if you have some insight.

With 4 YOE, I don’t think Xilinx will offer you E7. But you should be able to get E6.

Current company already in E6 level. Then what is the point moving from E6 to E6

Different company have different requirements for their leveling. Like you can’t compare Xilinx E6 with Google E6. For G, it would be min Xilinx E8.

Yes recruiter mentioned only E6 possible. How is the work in Xilinx?

Do not recommend making the move. Hectic and uptight here. Also in SW team and already started looking somewhere else. Joined not too long time ago. The most recent hire in our team. Also made a lateral moved at that time. I’d do something different if I had a chance to choose again.
