Team. Team. Team. Scope. Scope. Scope. Nothing else matters for top tier 1-3 companies who pay well otherwise. There is no way you can foresee future stock growth of any of these companies. I have first-hand experience of being paid very well at what's considered a top-tier company, but doing shit work in a shit role that adds zero value to my future prospects. Listen to me carefully....if you all make the same mistake as I did, I will find you, and I will kick you.
It's hard to know team and scope before joining. Every HM sells you some grand vision full of lies.

I dont think square and Uber pays the same for the same level…
I would personally take remote. Individual tracking rto that can get you fired too sucks here
Not sure how it works in Square, in Uber the URA quota can be anywhere b/w 5% to 10%. Something to keep in mind if you’re on a visa etc.

I’m at Uber now and am looking to leave for square. Uber culture is awful esp for women and for certain roles. I’ve been at 2 teams now and both have just been terrible. Stock is good but culture is toxic. Avoid if you can. You also must go into the office even if none of your team is there and it’s tracked religiously.
