You should really dig in more here rather than just assuming the take of two companies trying to hamper competition in the space. Clearly both are trying to go after others they are worried about. Also fyi, commonplace in tech to sue other companies to try to distract or slow them down. So much so that both Samsara and Omnitracs have been sued in the past for patent infringement by others.
Not even talking about the IP here… Do you feel a little odd that the keeptruckin VP of Product Management would create a fake company, buy Samsara under that name, pay a marketing company to create a fake “review of samsara” (as if it were an unboxing video) then post that video online as a “review of samsara products” with the sole intent of disparaging the company under the guise of a product review? Ask AG the vPM about this. I dare you. Do keeptruckin employees realize that they’re actually the bad guys here lol? Has anyone at keeptruckin actually read the complaint? This isn’t “jealousy” this is a 5+ year scheme led by C-Level to come after Samsara.

Obv I’m biased but I know employees at KeepTruckin (on the sales side) they joke about how half their onboarding/training is not on sales but how to beat Samsara. KeepTruckin has been publicly talking shit about samsara for years. Through stealing customer lists, faking case studies, using sleazy LinkedIn influencers, creating fake reviews, obviously copying samsara’s entire playbook. Samsara has said nothing, nada, zilch. Keeptruckin has landing pages dedicated to samsara. This is the first time Samsara has ever said anything, and they brought receipts. The photo of Shoaib riding shotgun taking notes on his laptop while testing Samsara is laugh out loud funny. It’s like when you see a politician do something, then they deny it, but like WE ALL SAW YOU DO IT lmao. His denial and the KeepTruckin response to this has been to double down on the shit talking, whataboutism, and to just say “they’re scared and jealous.” I’m genuinely wondering like are yall not a little embarrassed by the content (allegations) found in the lawsuit? Lol it kills me Edit as the KT employee who responded deleted his response calling Rob Carpenter on their payroll it seems
He intentionally edits the samsara system to not capture certain events, then posts a h2h saying samsara missed them. If he’s not getting paid, it’s pathetic because he’s intentionally lying and misleading people. I’d bet my next paycheck he is getting paid. I do wonder, do the KeepTruckin reps who repost his content realize he’s lying, or just don’t care? One guy said he’d “bet $1,000 motive wins…” ugh yeah so would I, it’s a sham, rigged head to head. You’re saying the guy who negatively posts about samsara 3x a week, who’s running a trial isn’t actually being honest about it?!!? Anyone knowingly reposting that is the definition of what people dislike about sales professionals. Intentionally lying to deceive.
