This will highly depend on your position as there are a lot of different facets to AB but I can tell you for sure the higher you move up in the company then you are on all the time.
I worked at AB for nearly a decade across multiple sales, operations and marketing roles. The worklife balance is decent I would say. I worked past 6pm a few (2 or 3) times a month, but Fridays were VERY sleepy Outside of actual work there are events on nights / weekends that it is encouraged to go to and depending on your role / team are borderline encouraged. There are some great people at AB but when I was there it also had a fratty/ bro culture. I left a few years ago and that very well could have changed. Finally it's definitely a old company. Internal tools suck
Allowed to drink beer at any time?
To some degree but not entirely. There are plenty of opportunities and free beer though.
