It's extremely difficult to find good products these days unless there is a clear, reliable name brand in the space like Milwaukee / Sony / Herman Miller / etc. Otherwise the most popular options are always cheap garbage, often with deceptive or outright fabricated marketing (e.g. proclaimed health benefits, green-washing, etc). All of the "Top 5 X" reviews that can be found online are paid sponsorships, online marketplaces like Amazon are rampant with fraud from fictional companies with gibberish names, and big box stores tailor to the average American seeking the cheapest product. Every time I need to look for some product that I don't know a reputable brand for, it can take weeks of investigation to filter out all of the noise and deceptive marketing, if that. Given the higher income of blinders, I figured you would be a better pool to ask for quality products vs the typical cheap consumer. What are some good quality brands for the following items / certifications to look out for (e.g. UL Listed)? 1. Bed Sheets (ideally ones that dog hair comes out of) 2. Mattresses 3. Towels 4. Wooden cooking utensils 5. Bike trailers 6. Electronics cables 7. Mops that work on hardwood floors & have washable (i.e. not disposable consumerist garbage) parts 8. Kitchen sponges 9. Any other recommendations that improved your QoL when upgrading from cheapo shit to a quality brand TC tax: 350k #misc #recommendations
