There's no new info we can provide you that you won't find in the reviews already. If you do join, good luck and brace yourself.
It’s a burn and churn environment. Fly as far under the ELT radar as possible.
I know someone who was an Eng leader there, but only lasted a little over year. Cited culture as the biggest red flag, although business seems to be strong!
Lol if any of those Eng leaders were from Uber they were the toxic incapable ones that needed to go. I heard there was some director who joined from Uber and spilled poison in the org.
Lots of turnover at the management level, company is notorious for underpaying for both base and equity. You probably got a graph that shows that you'll be a multi millionaire if Sonder becomes 4x as large as Marriott. Overall, the company struggles with retention. The Blind score is reflective of the company culture. You get practically no perks. There's no WFH stipend (if you get a sign on bonus, its basically part of it). The company will try to sell the introduction of "volunteer time off" as a new benefit when they've had "unlimited" PTO all along.
