Epic games is not pre-ipo, they will likely never go public (at least under current owner / founder(?)).
Why do you say that? Damn, I would bet the farm on Epic if I could...
Primarily between what I’ve heard of how the owner operates and they’re a very cash heavy company when it comes to paying employees. The way I see it is that the company has been around for a long time and if the owner was interested in doing an IPO he would have had a lot of paths in the past to have pursued it but instead chose to lose money in favor of running the company the way he wants to. Going public would be counter to how he’s operated in the past since he would now have to do what the shareholders wanted. This is all of course just second hand hearsay and my opinion on it.
