I am currently in the trial at Automattic for Code Wrangler role which has just started and i am finding it difficult to time for the extra work daily. I already have an offer at hand for ~130k/year from another remote company. I heard from a few peers that a8c does not pay higher salary levels. I don’t want to get disappointed after spending all the time on trial hence asking folks here if they can share some insights? TC 77k #engineering #software #automattic
You can ask to speak with HR about compensation, you don’t have to wait till the end of the trial to find out, especially since you have an offer in hand.
