Velocity global interview/culture insights?
Anyone here from Velocity global or know of that company? I have a few interviews coming up and wanted to see if I can some insights on what to expect, esp in "leadership " and "Cross functional with Product". Also, how is the culture there? @kofeeAnnan, @PenPalz - can you provide any update on how the interview process was? and the culture vibe and growth prospects you learned about the company?
The interviews were straight forward. Nothing complex imo. Not too difficult. It's a team in formation. So there is a lot of shuffling now, and to come, imo. Culture seems very startupish. Pushing for higherbar but it will take time. A lot of ex Amazon hires :)
I got an offer. They are certainly serious about hiring. One thing though, they can come across a tad disorganized during the process.
They are hiring seniors in the Canada Toronto Office, but offering 120k-130k for senior roles. You can find 120k-130k in any company for senior roles. It is just another OK company, not sure about the work-life balance.
I got the same offer range, definitely lowball offer for the expectations. Were you able to negotiate further?
Also interviewing with them. Seems like they are at a turning point in their company so interesting to see how they perform.

Yea send me a DM. I mean in terms of their talent pool. Looks like every VP there is ex big tech and hired in the last 6 months which is good
