Got approached by Redpanda recruiter. The work he described sounded interesting. Can anyone share any info about the company? Can’t find much about the company apart from what’s already out there. Looking for info on the company’s work culture, wlb, health, etc. Current TC: 340k YOE: 8 #redpanda

I've been here a while, happy to answer any question. What info are you looking for? Obviously as a startup not much is going to be public. I must say that Engineering seems very strong with a massive focus on modern C++, business potential seems high given the very large Kafka/Confluent market out there. What do they ask in the interviews? Is it c++ 17/20 or leetcode or something else?
Depends on the role/team. Interview rounds are very practical and there are no leetcode style questions. More focus on relevant working knowledge of distributed systems. There is a c++ round when interviewing for the core team but there is no focus on any specific c++ standard. You should be fine as long as you are familiar with regular c++ code of any standard.
