Hi all, Passed recruiter screen and interview with hiring manager. Next step is the "on site". Has anyone interviewed recently who can share what to expect? Or anyone currently at Yahoo? Unlike FAANG from what I gather teams all interview differently with no shared question bank. But whatever experience anyone has. And no, this is not 2001 or whatever which is the bulk of replies to every other such Yahoo post. Tc: ~240k

From Amazon to Yahoo???
Hell yeah. I ain't commuting into some office 3x a week AND paying for parking on top of it. Amazon is forcing RTO and WE are paying for parking out of pocket.
The pay for parking? I have no idea. I never worked anywhere where I had to pay for parking OOP. And that includes LA and the bay area. But this is a new rule yeah. And it's for all their offices. Most absurd thing, with teams distributed, even if you are the only one on your team you must go into the office. And for me, I work mostly with teams in India and EU so going into the office yields zero benefit.

There’s no standard across the board as every team sets their on baselines.
Explain how http request works?
Hmm. I'm not a fan of textbook questions. But would I prefer that over LC? Idk.
My friend rejected one fb candidate as he was not able to explain this correctly.
