I’m not at G anymore but I thought there was some other Gemini version supposedly even better than GPT 4? Gemini Ultra I think?

Aligns with my personal observations. Just try it, if you don’t believe them. Both are free. The free version of Gemini that comes with Google Bard is simply not helpful.
I find it pretty good
I'm fully expecting Gemini Ultra to be a massive disappointment as well, lesson is don't trust Google when they try to hype up anything, ever, they always under deliver without fail.
