Yearly Raises (IBM)
Does IBM offer yearly salary bumps? I’ve heard people getting 5% or so in product. Is that common/good?

Depends on your team and role just like any company. I know people who got more than 5% this year.

It’s possible to get 5%. My understanding is that the average is around 1%, with managers having to spread that among their reports. The big bumps come with promotions (~30%).

Yea I know a band promotion is anywhere from 26 - 30%.

Once you get to salary midpoint expect to live there unless you can move to the next band.
