Hi, Recently interviewed at Yelp (London) for IC2 role (Infrastructure ). Would like to understand how does the following offer looks Base: £65k RSU: £65k (4 years) Signing and Relocation: £12k GBP YOE: 2 years T.C: 11 LPA Current Location: India #tech #offer #softwaredevelopersalary #engineering Edit: Let me know if guys are aware of other opportunities in the EU and open to refereeing me for the Position (https://www.teamblind.com/post/L1eCA0gY)
Others might give better pointers, but at one point I have researched a lot about this, and this seems a bit low. I am comparing this to FB london pay and its not close. Also research a bit about Taxes in London, they are pretty high and even more on RSUs. So you will end up getting ~45k per year after taxes, when I did my calculations even a normal London lifestyle was coming to 30k per year, plus the back and forth travel (Once a year I will fly back, once I will call mom dad).
Also the RSU part, you can get the same amount back here in India as well
Do you know how much base & RSU FB gives E4 in London?
Congrats! The offer is in line with FB London E3 offer. And many people with 2 YoE do get downleveled to FB E3 and accept the offers. Compared to your current Indian TC, you should be able to save significantly more. This is a sample FB E3 offer for 2 YoE - 61k GBP base, 14,600 GBP sign on + relocation, 85k USD stocks over 4 years, 10-30% annual bonus
Do you have any idea for the approximate TC after tax?
How much can one save ?
It's a good offer
How reliable is this site? https://uk.talent.com/tax-calculator
Yelp is listed on NYSE. Is RSU part 65K Euro or US dollars ?
It's mentioned in dollars on the offer
Congrats on your offer! Did you apply with a referral? Please let us know how your interview went. Thanks!
Okay, so since OP didn't apply, I'll share my experience with Yelp London. I just applied online and got interview in Feb-March.
Please do! What's your YOE? I'm an new grad looking to apply in 2022. I plan to apply in Europe!
How you applied to yelp ? Did you got referred by someone ? Actually I am thinking of switching so asking

Decent for your yoe, and way better when compared to Indian TC with very high QoLife. See if you can make it to 75 or 70k. Nevertheless good luck
Thanks, any tips how should I proceed with the conversation with the recruiter as I don't have any other offer. Also I made the mistake of quoting my base between 60 - 70k in initial call.
Ask 75 k, they might give 70k base, rest try to get it increased in stocks and joining bonus maybe 15k as they might be willing to change stock and jb more than base, try some online tips, I don't have anything tbh
