Yelp vs coin base offer
Yelp: L2, 115k CAD base, 90k USD stock (4 years), 15k sign on bonus, 5% annual bonus coinbase (new gard): 120k CAD base, 30 to 40k stock per year I think total tc is about 170ish, not sure about sign on and annual bonus yet (verbal offer) Right now I am burnt out from previous job, i am looking for more of a wlb in my next job. Does coinbase have insanely high expectations and everyone's working 60+ hours per week like some amazon employees? I heard yelp is better when it comes work life balance, as well have a strong engineering culture and you can learn a lot while coinbase is pretty much same except there’s less wlb but more room for growth as a company. I am currently not sure which one is a better option for me. I am down for the grind but I don’t think I can handle 60+ hours every week. I highly doubt you would have to work at CIBC for 60+ hours too esp in tech, so what made you feel burnt out?
Coinbase doesn't do 4yr grants, they're yearly

Keep in mind coinbase has pip culture too, may not be best since you mentioned WLB is a priority.
Not sure about Yelp WLB but if it's your priority think twice about coinbase and make sure you join a team you really like. They pride themselves on an intense culture and want to be the next Amazon.
Polls are usually useless as most just vote for higher TC without looking at anything. Coinbase is pretty intense like few folks said, my friend joined very recently and seems like it. Their culture deck itself takes pride on it, also check blind reviews/try to connect to people/ask the team you're joining about their typical day to make a more informed decision.
